Last day to pack, repack, check lists, maps, and bike. Will double check tires, brakes and shifters one last time. Getting haircut. Shopping for "last meal" and filling water bottles.

Training Continues...
Did hills on Tuesday with several ascents and descents of the west hills including Skyline Blvd, Fairmont, Washington Park and others. Good workout for the legs, but only 25 miles.
On a side note, as I made my way through NW Portland I spotted a wallet next to the curb and stopped to pick it up. Turns out it belonged to Russell Hornsby who plays "Hank" on the NBC series GRIMM. I was able to contact him through his FaceBook page and rode down to the Grimm Production Office to return it to him. It turns out he often commutes to work by bicycle and the wallet fell out of his back pocket only an hour or so before I came across it. He was very grateful for its return. Now can I parlay that into a speaking role on GRIMM????
Yesterday (Wednesday) I did a couple of short, fast rides while on various errands. Looking to ride longer in the next couple of days. It's hard to believe that the ride begins in 10 days.
